Alex is a mixologist with 10 years of experience crafting the finest cocktails with the freshest ingredients. He grew up making the classics in his family's legendary Greek restaurant in Minnesota. After moving to LA, he graduated from Julian Cox's intensive bar training program and joined the staff at Rivera. There he contributed to the bar's 3 James Beard nominations and made the best drinks in town.
An invigorating take on
a classic drink
2 oz Gin
1 oz Lime Juice
.75 oz Simple syrup
4 Basil leaves
2 Cucumber slices
In a shaker, add all the ingredients but Gin and muddle. Add the gin and ice, seal the shaker and shake vigorously. Fine (double) strain into a coupe
and garnish with a slice of cucumber and basil leaf.
Can also be served on the rocks.
